Saracens ARFC 17th April

Saracens ARFC double victory in the Ready4Rugby fixtures Vs Southgate and Old Grammarians.

Final Scores:

Saracens ARFC Hoops 19-6 Southgate

Saracens ARFC All Blacks 11-8 Grammarians

Two strong mixed ability squads walked away with wins at Old Grammarians. As a mark of respect, all teams held a minutes of silence, before the action started at 3 PM. In the game verses Southgate, the ability to offload into contact was the defining factor of the match. Southgate showed a lot of flair through their attack on the blindside, their majority of chances established as a result, whereas the Hoops maintained the structure established at training throughout the match until the final whistle.

The same can be said about the All Blacks performance. The Sarries structure prevailed again, with the strong emphasis of line breaks making the difference between victory and defeat.

This Saturday, two more squads will be competing away with rematches against Enfield Ignations and Finsbury Park. Both fixtures will be held at Enfield Ignations.
