Saracens Vs Hackney May 2021
A disappointing performance from Saracens ARFC leads to defeat in one of the (hopefully) last R4R matches of 2021.
A strong squad played away at Hackney in one of the last matches of the 2020 season. Saracens throughout the match created a lot of attacking opportunities, through first phase play, often making 20 or 30 meters. Unfortunately, throughout the whole match, the squad was let down by numerous handling errors, “We lost because we dropped the ball numerous times in try-scoring positions and compounded the mistakes by letting them (Hackney) score almost immediately after each one.”
A lot of chances created from Hackney, came through exploiting an unready defence as well as breaking the line through numbers on the wings.
Saracens will be facing Old Grammarians RFC at home this weekend, with another rotated squad.
