Saracens Vs Hatfield

Saracens faced Hatfield, for the first time as a Ready4Rugby fixture at home. With only one fixture this week, only a squad of 20 was selected. The first half had a slight rules variation, (once a player was tackled, they had to throw the ball up and catch it) leading to a very fast and flowing match. The majority of the scores from Saracens came again through breaking the game line, with good support play and individual talent. The structure played throughout the match made the task easier.

The almost try of the match came from Hatfield. An outrageous grubber kick directed into the corner, lead to a one on one scramble to the goal line to collect collect the bouncing ball.

The final result lead to the ball bouncing harmlessly out of the end zone, as the Hatfield player could not ground the ball.

The match slowed down after the half, reverting to Ready4Rugby rules. The moment of the second half showed the drive and determination to support fellow teammates.
